Join our supportive, friendly and compassionate Acute Care Service and make a difference to people’s recovery. We’re a 24 hour Acute Mental Health Team supporting people in Southampton to recover a life beyond mental illness.

Our unit has developed a new specialist staff model including Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Therapists, Associate Practitioners and Peer Support Workers. We support all staff to meet their career aspirations with tailored training programmes to advance their skills and knowledge.
We will work with you to decide how you want to develop and how we can support you.
We may be able to offer a rotational post combining both community and in-patient experience working across our acute care pathway.

We believe acute mental health services are specialist and at Antelope House on the south coast of England, our workforce is too. Antelope House is an acute mental health inpatient unit. Based in the centre of Southampton, our multidisciplinary team offer high quality recovery focused care to adults with a range of mental health needs. Our unit has 42 inpatient beds across two acute wards and a 10 bed psychiatric intensive care unit.
