Our client is looking for a Technical Support Manager who will be in a support role advising customers and service engineers on all technical and service related matters including trouble shooting and training in spare parts and components relating to compressors, driers, and ancillary equipment, the installation, service and support of such products.

Making sure that the technical information is kept up-to-date, and that spares and components stock levels are adequate for the requirements of the machines sold in the market and/or already in the field.

-To be skilled in a support role, with good telephone communication skills and a strong Engineering or Technical background backed up by relevant Engineering Qualifications such as an HNC, HND or BEng Degree.
-Any experience within Air Compressors, or Compressed Air Technology would be highly advantageous, otherwise you will be required to have considerable Industrial and Engineering Support experience and skills within a very similar role.
-Ability to trouble shoot technical problems on industrial machinery
-An up to date experience/ knowledge in IT and applications

You will be tasked with maximising support advice on products and parts, advising customers on equipment, identifying replacement parts to new and existing customers. Able to identify equipment by serial number or year of manufacturing, email the relevant breakdown diagrams, and quote customers where applicable. Communicate with suppliers where necessary.

The role will entail regular contact with customers and service engineers, offering product and technical advice where necessary, inputting of orders, etc.

You will be based at their offices in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.

Working hours: 8.30 - 17.00.

Salary depending on experience. Car, travel expenses, and additional benefits available.
