Our client is currently recruiting for a Health and Social Care Assessor to join their team in a field based role covering East Sussex.
You will need to be a qualified Assessor and hold a CAVA. TAQA, A1 or D32 / D33 Assessing Award.
You will need to have experience of Assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care with the delivery of Functional skills. Recent experience is essential as you will need to be able to hit the ground running.
It is essential that you hold a Level 3 Care qualification. The ability to assess Level 5 learners would be very beneficial although not essential as would the ability to deliver training in dementia, disability or autism awareness.
The average size caseload is 60 learners and you will be using the EDI E-portfolio system. Learners are contacted every month but every other month by visit to allow for sound management of this size caseload.
As the role is covering a large area then you will need to be prepared to trouble shoot problem venues/learners with a positive mental outlook as and when required.
You must be an excellent communicator and customer focussed to ensure that the company is represented to a high standard. You should be highly organised in order to maximise visit time with learners, to deliver smart assessment, be able to fast track learning and able to work to tight time scales.
You will operate delivery plans that include contact / support to learners by phone as well as in person.
This is an excellent position for a qualified and experienced Health and Social Care Assessor seeking a new role.
