At our clients they provide a bed and support to more than 2,600 people a night who are either homeless or at risk, and work to end homelessness and rebuild lives.
They have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and driven individual to join their major donor fundraising team and contribute to them achieving their ambitious annual income targets. Working within the Major Gifts Team, you will have responsibility for ensuring our client reaches its charitable income targets by generating income from High Net Worth individuals. The role will involve cultivating new relationships and maintaining effective relationships with current supporters. You will also support the Major Donor Manager in achieving key objectives of the Major Donor strategy.
To succeed, you will be experienced in Major Donor fundraising and in securing, administering and stewarding gifts from high net worth individuals. You will also have a successful track record of achieving fundraising targets and of managing a portfolio of diverse Major Donors; working to deadlines and agreed targets. Other requirements include strong negotiating, communication and research skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office and database packages.
If you believe that you have what they are looking for, and have an interest in working for a charity which makes a real difference to the lives of homeless people, they would love to hear from you.
