Linc Cymru operates Extra Care Schemes for older people across Cardiff and Newport.

Reporting to the Area Catering Manager, we are looking to recruit a Bank Chef who will join our team, in preparing meals for residents; ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the kitchen and dining room.

Duties will include:

Supporting the Area Catering Manager in liaising with staff to produce nutritious, high       

quality, well presented meals to all elders on a daily basis.
Deputising for the Chef Manager  in their absence, overseeing the work of the catering    

staff and general kitchen management.
To set by personal example, excellent food standards.
Work to Health and Safety and environmental health standards.

You will enjoy working in a team and have a positive attitude to supporting your colleagues and the elders. You will also take pride in cleanliness and organisation on shift, understanding that Health and Safety and Food Safety are essential in the workplace. You must also be passionate about food and customer service and ideally have experience of working in a similar role.
