We’re looking for positive and motivated individuals to join Age Cymru. As the only Wales based national charity devoted to addressing all the issues affecting older people in Wales, this is an opportunity to join at an exciting and challenging time as we continue our journey to create an age friendly Wales.

You will work with new and existing advocacy service providers to ensure they are tender ready for advocacy commissioning processes and with representative groups of potential service users and carers to raise awareness of advocacy in all its forms.

You will have experience working with others to deliver successful projects and services together with establishing and maintaining productive collaborations. With knowledge of service planning and development, advocacy policy and practice, tendering and commissioning, you will have high calibre communication skills and the ability to use these for developing partnerships, negotiating and influencing.

This three-year national project has been funded by Welsh Government through the Sustainable Social Services Grant Programme to support commissioners and providers in the delivery of independent professional advocacy in line with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
