The Improving Outcomes Team Leader will support and challenge establishments and clusters to raise attainment and achievement. They will support the development of assessment and moderation processes at cluster and authority level. Coordinating the ongoing implementation of the Scottish Attainment Challenge in Clackmannanshire will be a key priority. The Scottish Attainment Challenge is a national initiative which seeks to drive forward improvements in educational outcomes with a clear focus on achieving excellence and equity. Clackmannanshire is one of nine local authorities to receive additional funding as part of the Scottish Attainment Challenge.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council and the cost of this check which will be deducted from your salary.
