Teaching Assistant - Level 1

Hours of Work: Permanent, 37 hours per week, Term Time Only

Salary: Grade 5, Points 14 to 18, £14, 151 to £15,362

Bluecoat Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced and committed Level 1 Teaching Assistant, to join our well established and credible Learning Support and Student Support Teams at Bluecoat Academy as soon as possible.

The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working with students within the Trust to improve the quality of learning for students and support teachers in the delivery of learning activities. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, confident and be able to work using their own initiative, ensuring that the students are at the centre of every aspect of school life. Experience of working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
