Customer Services Assistant
Troubador Publishing is seeking a full time Customer Services Assistant. The post involves talking to customers about publishing services offered, creating and processing contracts, handling initial enquiries by telephone and email, and creating bespoke quotations for prospective customers.
In addition, invoicing customers will be required, and the Customer Services Assistant will cover the reception desk at lunchtime. The CSA will also assist the Department in the organising and running of publishing conferences and events, and will help to promote excellent customer service throughout the company.
Applicants must have an excellent, confident telephone manner and good communication skills. The CSA must be able to deal with multiple ongoing tasks, and should be computer literate.
Software used includes MS Word, Excel and FileMaker (database). Customer service experience is beneficial, but full training in all aspects of the position will be given.
The vacancy is in the company's offices near Kibworth in Leicestershire. Troubador publishes over 600 books and ebooks a year under its Matador, Book Guild and Troubador brands.
