EXTERNAL CONTRACTS TEAM - WEST OF ENGLAND WORKS PROJECT

Fixed term until 31/12/2019.

Weston College is seeking to expand our highly effective External Contracts Team in preparation to deliver the West of England Works project.

The Weston College External Contracts Team is responsible for the management of all learning delivered through the College's national network of partner organisations and was deemed to be ‘Highly Effective' during the most recent Ofsted Inspection where Weston College was judged to be ‘Outstanding' in all areas. We currently work with over 40 delivery partners located throughout England delivering Programmes of Study to 16-18 year olds, Traineeships, Apprenticeships and learning supported by the Adult Education Budget.

The West of England Works is a new and innovative project that will offer targeted packages of support to unemployed adults with multiple and complex needs to improve their employability and help them to progress into work. Running from January 2017 to December 2019, the project forms part of the national ‘Building Better Opportunities' (BBO) programme and is funded jointly between the European Social Fund and the Big Lottery Fund. The project is led by Weston College and will be delivered in partnership with a comprehensive range of voluntary and community sector organisations across the West of England area (Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset).

The focus of the positions advertised will be to manage both critical business processes and the relationship between Weston College and our delivery network, ensuring that the provision funded is delivered to the highest standard and secures the best possible outcomes for learners and participants in a manner that fully satisfies our contractual obligations.
