Your new company
Hays Senior Finance is recruiting an experienced Finance Manager for this large high profile organisation in Hull. This is an exciting time to join the business at the outset of a refreshed strategic plan and part way through a growth period and large capital investment programme.
Your new role
You will assist the Finance Director in the delivery of the financial plan. This will involve supporting strategic decision making, risk and performance management, and providing a suitable objective financial challenge.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for all aspects of financial control, you will work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organisation in order to achieve business objectives, you will drive the review of business growth opportunities, you will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, you will ensure compliance with all legal and financial regulatory requirements, you will complete the financial year end, and you will lead and manage a team of finance staff.
What you will need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant who is used to operating at a senior level within an organisation. You will have experience of appraising strategic opportunities. You will have substantial staff management experience.
