Non-Executive Director

2gether NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health, social care and developmental disability (learning disability) services to the populations of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. We operate from approximately 140 sites and employ over 2,300 people.

We are a high performing and progressive organisation looking to appoint a Non-Executive Director to our Board. You will:

  • Provide leadership, with fellow Directors, to deliver high quality services in line with our key strategic objectives of Continuous Quality Improvement, Building Engagement and Ensuring Sustainable Services;
  • Provide independent advice and counsel on our strategic direction, ensuring constructive challenge and scrutiny on current and future business plans;
  • Role model the values and principles of the Trust;
  • You need to be a skilled communicator and influencer, possessing excellent leadership skills and experience at Board level within a large and complex organisation. Ideally you will have a background of strategic level thinking and experience of delivering an Organisational Development and Human Resources agendas.

Desirable experience includes delivering change at scale, having an interest in social inclusion and understanding the challenges of equality and diversity, and staff development. Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate experience of engaging with diverse communities and stakeholders.

Candidates representing our Herefordshire constituency would be most welcome, although we will of course be pleased to receive applications from those in Gloucestershire.
