£15,844 - £17,605 per annum (depending on skills & experience

The role of Support Assistant is your opportunity to join our Support Alliance Team and gain skills and experience in delivering 1:1 housing support to a wide variety of people within the community.
You will help support clients to achieve tasks outlined in their Support Plans that are aimed to promote independence, for example providing advice on the practical tasks of moving home or help ensure all relevant benefits are being claimed. We are proud of our focus towards a client-led approach to support.
The successful candidate will have great communication and organisational skills and be able to work sensitively. You will also have an understanding of issues affecting vulnerable people. The ability to manage your time efficiently whilst ensuring electronic and paper based case records are accurate and kept up to date is essential.

Our Support Alliance team provides housing support to vulnerable people under the age of 55 who struggle to live safety and independently at home, for example care leavers, people with mental health issues, or with alcohol or drug problems.
