Key Tasks and Responsibilities Client Activity Know the detail and current status on the financial calendar programmes to ensure optimum delivery and a proactive grasp of the account service required: Understand each client's business, operations and capital markets strategy Be able to critique or defend work and ideas in relation to client's strategy Understand the sectors in which our clients operateManage all day to day activity - eg client and media requests, analyst meetings set up etc Build strong relationships with clients, advisors and account teams: Liaise directly with client/advisers as needed to build relationships and manage expectationsConsider, design and execute new initiatives as required - be creativeBe the hub of communication - circulate information in a timely manner, both internally and to clientsDelight clients by doing something of value, unasked for - build client confidence Deliver comprehensive client service Manage results days with limited guidance from Directors Comment on, and where necessary, draft press releases & statements Collate analyst, media and market feedback with commentary and advice Be a team player - take pride - be flexible - be organised - have a sense of humor Media Activity Have an excellent understanding of how key business and financial media across all platforms operate Develop and further press relations Set up press meetings / briefings for clients as required Ensure any key media activity is promptly communicated to all relevant stakeholders Team Development Develop team members reporting to you or working with you to ensure consistent client delivery and strong relationship management both internally and externally - set the standards Ensure training and/or learning needs for your team are highlighted and actioned Assist in team recruitment as required New Business Activity Support new business efforts by targeting new business opportunities both for own client portfolio and potential new clients Assist in new business projects and take an active role in the pitch process as needed Develop networking skills to support HS's interaction with key contacts within, though not exclusive to: City audiences relevant mediawider business community
