SNR Electrical Estimator, Immediate Start, NorthamptonshireWe are working on over 30 projects in and around London (and the Home Counties) and continuously require experienced SNR Electrical Estimator in the Northamptonshire area. If you are looking for regular SNR Electrical Estimator work in the Northamptonshire area and can provide us with all the required documentation we would like to talk to you!JOB DESCRIPTION:• Fully conversant with requirements of producing accurate estimates on time.• Previous experience and knowledge of being an Estimator• Detailed knowledge and understanding of labour norms and assess man hours for specific work items associated to tenders• Knowledge of market rate labour costs and materials and to keep abreast of financial changes year upon year• Keep up to date on technological changes in the the Building Services sector• Ability to build solid working relationships with immediate colleagues and external suppliers and subcontractors• Planning and co-ordinating• Ability to allocate work and supervise others• Ability to manage and motivate other team members• Communication and briefing• Work on own initiative and as an effective team member.• Being productive and self-motivated with a flexible approach to duties.• IT literate • Ability to multi task and manage many priorities• Well organised and able to work un supervised in a logical methodical manner• Prioritise and allocate time according to priority• Effective communication skills• Ability to estimate, budget cost ad prepare cost plans• Using resources at disposal to best effect• Skilled at balancing the big picture with the need to get into detail• A positive, "can do" approach, determined to succeed• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and client needs, often as short notice• Driven to achieve - goal orientated• Remains calm under pressure• Leads by example• Build and maintains excellent working relationships• Recognises own strengths and weaknesses and committed to ongoing development• An exemplar for the company values• Acceptance of responsibility and accountability• Sound, balanced judgement
