Would you love to work for a Sporting Event Management and Travel company with an excellent Worldwide reputation? My client is looking for a Trade and Agency Sales Coordinator to join their expanding team and use their travel industry knowledge alongside their sales skills to make this role a success! The lucky candidate will be helping to drive sales for a leading sporting organisation with a specific focus on the rugby World Cup in New Zealand next year. The successful candidate will ideally have a solid travel background and a good understanding of the sporting industry along with a passion for sales. A competitive base salary is available for the successful candidate with commission and a great benefits package on top!

* Co-ordinate the day to day requirements of the officially appointed sub agents
* Encourage additional sales for agents
* Maximise the travel package sales for the company through their customer and database channels
* Build strong relationships with the key contacts within Trade and Agencies and maintain these relationships with regular contact and feedback sessions
* With support from the Senior Manager, meet with these contacts and progress discussions about how booking with us can benefit them
* Assist in the planning and delivery of incentive plans for the Agents to incentivise them to sell
* Ensure that all databases are kept up to date
* Work closely with Senior Sales Co-ordinator
* Maintain relationships with regular calls and face to face meetings
* Be a part of regular feedback sessions with the rest of the team and update them on progress and sales
* Work closely with the Senior Manager to create and deliver an Agent activity plan that will sit alongside the sales plan
* Pull together all of the Agency sales figures
* Co-ordinating everything from additional orders, specific room requests to ensure that the Sub Agents are compliant with their contractual agreements.

* Be an energetic, focused and committed person
* Be pro-active in your approach to outbound calling, generating new business as well as nurturing this very exciting customer sector
* An excellent knowledge of the Travel and Trade Industry
* Ideally experience of selling products and services to the travel trade
* Organised and reliable with an excellent attention to detail
* Excellent telephone manner
* Able to show time management skills around getting the job done
* Strong written and numerical skills
* Microsoft Office suite use
* Excellent relationship builder
* A passion to keep up to speed with the industry and current events to see how it impacts on sales
* Happy to be flexible with working hours that will include some evenings and weekends

An excellent base salary in the region of ??18-??20k with an OTE in the region of ??23-25k plus excellent company benefits!
