The Applications Engineer Opportunity:

Knowledge and skills required:
We are looking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic Applications Engineer who can work effectively as part of small yet busy team. We would welcome applicants with the following attributes:
+ A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering role
+ Experience in machine vision, image processing or a similar field.
+ Knowledge of industrial automation in the context of machine vision/image processing.
+ Educated to degree level preferably in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Design, Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree.
+ A logical approach to problem solving.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills – both written and verbal.
+ Well organised, ability to work to deadlines and a high attention to detail.
+ Ability to prioritise a heavy workload.
+ Ability and willingness to work as part of a team.
+ Clean and full UK driving licence.
Equally important will be the candidate's intellect, willingness to learn, ability to build relationships, putting themselves in others’ shoes, while always making a positive impact with our clients and each other
+ Knowledge of software programming languages.
+ A Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
+ Understanding of design software such as Solidworks 3D or AutoCAD.
+ Understanding of control systems, PLC or general factory automation.
You may have worked in the following capacities:
Mechanical Engineer, Automation Engineer, Electrical Engineer.
