Part Time Care Worker / Healthcare Assistant - Seymour Day Centre, Sutton Coldfield
16 hours per week (4 days per week: 8.30am – 12.30pm shift)
£7.20 per hour + Additional benefits include pension and health care scheme.
We are looking for a caring, self-motivated and committed care worker to join the Seymour Day Centre, Sutton Coldfield. You will assist day centre members with physical and mental health needs under the guidance of supervisory staff, in order to maximise their independence, dignity and choice.
You will ensure that the centre is ready to receive members and the planned activities are set up in advance. The role includes personal care and escorting on our mini-bus. Experience working in dementia care would be an advantage, but not necessary as training will be given.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo DBS checks.
The deadline for applications is Monday 12th December 2016 at midday.
