Engineering Site Manager
Yeovil
Salary ??30k + DOE
We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager for a Yeovil based supplier of Surface Finishing and Coatings. The business provides an extensive range of services to all engineering sectors, and prides itself on quality.
The Site Manager is responsible for embedding a total safety and quality culture throughout the business, and is responsible for overseeing and handling all management systems, manufacturing operations, production planning and inventory control.
Other main duties involve -
*Providing Management, Support and development for the staff
*Collaborating with the Group MD to establish business strategies
*To oversee production and production planning activities
*Lead the coordination of all activities, from raw material to shipping
*Implement and maintain a team-led visual management system utilising Standard Work, 5S, and Value Stream analysis
This position will require travel to other sites and attend customer sites around the UK
