We’re looking for a highly organised and professional HR Officer to join our team for a 12-month maternity cover.  Working for multi-academy trust, Bright Tribe, you will be based in Stockport, working alongside the central and regionally based HR team and will be responsible for providing HR administration and project support to the central team and schools within the Trust.

The HR Officer Role

This is a HR generalist role where you will work on Trust HR projects including HR systems improvements (new pay roll and HR systems), monitoring and reporting on employee relations issues and recruitment tracking, establishing and improving HR processes for the Trusts new in-house estate team as well as school HR administration support.

This will involve assisting school administrators with HR correspondence, recruitment, administration audits and compliance, Single Central Records, administration training and absence management.

HR Officer Hours of Work: 9:00am-5.30pm (1 Hour for Lunch) – flexibility can be considered

Our Ideal HR Officer will have:

- Excellent attention to detail, organisational and IT skills

- A proactive approach to work

- A ‘can-do’ attitude

- At least 3 years previous experience within HR

- Education sector experience desirable but not essential
