Analyst Programmer / Software Developer

Based in South Buckinghamshire, we are a small but growing world leader developer of SaaS software to manage extra-curricular programmes within schools. Installed in over 20 countries we have ambitious plans to expand in the next three years not only our customer base but also the product portfolio to complement the existing product. Reporting to their Technical Director there will be the opportunity for a more senior management role as their development team expands.

Personal characteristics they are expecting include being a self-starter, a problem solver, ability to work on your own and in a team and to work to deadlines. We are a small team with a great culture so good inter personal skills are paramount.

Technical skills required:
- A previous experience working on database-driven web sites is required, preferably in a Microsoft environment.
- Must have a firm general understanding of relational databases and good SQL skills (MS SQL Server experience highly desirable).
- Server and Client-side web development tool sets, including ASP.Net, VB.Net, HTML, XML, JavaScript & CSS.
- Role will include maintenance and technical / user support of the applications, so written English is important.
