C&I Technical Engineer

Your tasks:
- Provide hands on support to the electrical department in electrical fault finding and PLC principles.
- Take the lead role in fault finding, improvement or upgrading projects.
- Provide programming and software support to the production unit.
- Assist with the installation, commissioning and testing of all equipment as directed by the Electrical Engineering Manager.
- Provide hands on advice, support and training to maintenance and production departments.
- Troubleshoot and fault find in processes with an innovative approach to problem solving.
- Provide out of hour’s support and attend occasional trips to continental Europe as required.
Our requirements:
- HNC/HND/Degree level qualifications.
- High level of Health and Safety knowledge required.
- S7 Siemens PLC Advanced knowledge essential.
- Working knowledge of PROFIBUS, SCADA (In Touch, Wonderware, RS View), S5 Siemens PLC and E-Plan.
- Relevant Technical experience.
- Relevant knowledge and skill of a manufacturing environment.
