£22,912 - £25,023 per annum

You will be professionally qualified in a Mechanical discipline with a HNC/HND or (OFQUAL equivalent) in mechanical engineering. Experience of implementing and monitoring formal reactive, planned and preventative maintenance systems is essential as is recent experience of developing a team to enhance engagement and performance.
Your detailed knowledge of the legislation relating to mechanical and electrical installations will enable you to effectively manage risk and assure compliance, whilst your results orientated approach and impeccable quality and service standards will ensure that you quickly establish yourself as a key member of our friendly and successful team.
About the Role
A vitally important role within Facilities Management, you will have responsibility for maintaining the developing campus, and supporting the Maintenance Manager in developing and leading the Estate team to ensure its long term success and sustainability – embedding a consistent customer-centric culture.
You will make a significant contribution to the further development of the University estate via the management and supervision of a team of maintenance operatives.
You will build effective, positive and professional working relationships with colleagues across the University, developing and implementing a holistic approach to the achievement of the highest possible levels of service and customer engagement.
