Our company client is a market leading organisation who are actively looking to take on board a driven and tenacious Data Governance Manager to lead the data governance analyst in rolling out a brand new road map across the business. The successful applicant will join the exciting team based in Surrey and will be offered plenty opportunities for career progression.

Role Overview:

* The team will be solely responsible for the implementation and adoption of data governance and data quality.
* This is a great opportunity for an experienced data governance analyst or data quality analyst looking to take the step up to management as the client is keen for someone to come in and own this from day one alongside an onsite consultancy that can provide a handover.
* You will be responsible for the monitoring and reporting of all quality and remediation issues with the support of the data governance analyst.
* As a data governance manager you will also be all the data owners are aware of the processes involved and know you are the got to person for data governance and data quality.

Essential experience, knowledge and abilities required:

* Strong experience in a data governance analyst role or a data quality role
* An ability to influence and advise senior figures within a businesses
* Experience leading projects or workshops in the past
* Comfortable explaining data quality / governance principles to all levels
* Experience with data quality or data profiling tools
* The company are looking for a data governance manager who is able to facilitate the governance forum and set and agenda to make sure that all parties are working together to agree on issues.
* The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a brand new roadmap and be able to devise methods to measure the effectiveness of the data governance framework.
