Our client is the UK’s largest music education body, one of its largest music publishers and the world’s leading provider of music exams, offering assessments to more than 630,000 candidates in 93 countries every year. They support the teaching and learning of music, in partnership with the Royal Schools of Music. Their mission is to inspire achievement in music.

They are looking for a Digital Learning Product Owner to join their Digital Learning team, whose members look at music learning through a digital lens, identifying where learning technology offers opportunities for them to better support teachers and learners.

The Digital Learning Product Owner will be responsible for conducting research and testing products with their customers and using data to support continuous improvement in their digital products. You will work closely with the Head of Digital Learning to identify opportunities and create business cases, taking responsibility for preliminary assessment of business opportunity, technological feasibility, and cost for new product features or functionality. You will also collaborate with external partners to ensure product-specific requirements and capabilities are delivered successfully to agreed timescales.

You will have expertise in key web and mobile technologies and languages and demonstrable experience of implementing digital technologies and tools to support successful learning. Experience of Agile project management, with the ability to manage several projects at different stages simultaneously is essential.  You will be a confident and articulate communicator who is able to adapt to different audiences as appropriate. You will also need musical ability to Grade 5 theory level or equivalent.
