Deputy General Manager - Great Opportunity Our client is a select and very progressive brewery pub, hotel and restaurant group. They are seeking a skilled and organised F&B professional with excellent food and beverage knowledge and a proven record of management to support the GM of a branded high end pub restaurant near Taunton. The site is superbly located with a relaxed and family friendly interior, bar, dining and outside amenities. As the DGM you will help to lead and inspire the team in this beautiful high-profile site to maintain impeccable service standards, a high level of presentation, and consistent performance in order to provide the guests with beverage and dining experiences of the highest quality. You will control, mentor, motivate and develop the team members who are fully committed to the success. Previous experience and knowledge of managed food pub operations with a seasonal profile is essential. You will ensure that the site cash, security and safety procedures are adhered to, and follow standard procedures to manage the business and execute service effectively. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a long-term design for the site, recognising this as a commitment to developing this pub restaurant and its employees to their full potential by articulating plans for the long-term future.
