Export Co-Coordinator role based in Cheddar, Somerset this is a fixed term contract for six months, an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator.Overall job role objective:The purpose of the role of Export Coordinator is to provide excellent quality customer service to both the internal and external customer, managing all aspects of the sales order processing cycle from sales quotations to dispatching shipments. In the main an Export Coordinator will be responsible for specific areas of the world alongside the relevant sales manager, developing close collaboration not just with the end customer, but also varying internal customers within the business. They will work closely within a tight knit team, enhancing efficiency and value-add within the function.Specific job role responsibilities:*Generate pro-forma invoices and tailor them to the needs of both the internal and external customer.*Process new sales orders, including entry, acknowledgement and margin checking.*Work alongside Export SOM and Purchasing to provide best availability within lead time, ensuring expectations of the customer are met.*Provide customers with technical information and support e.g. Technical drawings, line drawings and imagery, communicating with Aftersales if required.*Deliver and provide excellent customer service through both telephone calls and emails, responding within 24 hours depending on the nature of the enquiry.*Work closely alongside the Logistics Manager ensuring shipments have been dispatched on time and in full where possible, and as to the dispatch method and time requested by the customer, whilst liaising with Finance confirming customer is within available credit limit. *Assist the Logistics Manager with invoice preparation, certificates of origin, packing lists, inspection certificates to ensure these are available in time for clearance of goods once landed at their country of destination. *Organise and archive all relevant documentation, keeping all documents updated and secure.*Undertake any other ad-hoc projects as required (e.g. benchmarking projects, efficiency projects etc.)*Support the Export function of the company and be a critical part of improving the processes within that function.Working hours; 8am - 4.30pm Monday to FridayIf you would like to be considered for this role, please send your CV or call Bee for more information.Simple Recruitment (South West) Limited is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
