Our Customer Contact Centre is looking for enthusiastic, customer focused, hardworking individuals to join our busy customer service teams! There are currently two part-time positions available; one for 20 hours per week working 3pm - 7pm, Monday to Friday, and on working the 4pm - 8pm shift, Monday to Friday.Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for assisting our customers with orders and various types of enquiries over the telephone, internet, fax and post. Whilst maintaining a positive, friendly and professional approach.What we will expect from you on a day to day basis:*Receive a variation of inbound customer calls, to include order processing and pre and post sales enquires.*Input data from email, fax and post communications.*Action all customer enquiries in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.*Contribute to building an effective and cohesive team.*Take ownership for own performance and actively seek opportunities to improve and develop.You will be good at:*Effective communication and interpersonal skills.*An ability to empathise with others. *Confident with an excellent telephone manner and sound written skills. *Ability to work on an individual basis and as part of a team. *Reliable and conscientious, with a flexible approach to duties and hours.*Able to work to targets and deadlines.*Able to communicate in a clear, positive and professional manner.You will be exceptionally good at:*Listening and identifying customers' needs*A proactive and solution orientated approach*Ability to manage high workloads and work well under pressure. *Remaining patient, polite and professional, even when faced with a challenging customer.Successful candidates will be provided with full training and support, enjoy competitive rates of pay, company pension scheme and discount on products across the Travis Perkins Group.If you would like to be part of our team, we want to hear from you!
