A software house who specialise in creating bespoke software solutions for businesses across the UK are currently looking to recruit a Software Project Manager who has a commercial awareness and previous Pre Sales experience.
The Project Manager will work closely with the sales function, in a pre-sales capacity, you will assist with tender requests, pre-qualification questionnaires and presentations. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and prioritising an ongoing roadmap of work, ensuring that there is sufficient resource available to compete projects on time.
The successful Software Project Manager will be able to demonstrate:
- Managing multiple projects and coordinating resource as necessary
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detailed project documentation (candidates will be required to show example documentation)
- Highest level of computer literacy
- Educated to degree level with a 2.1 or above
The Software Project Manager plays a vital role within this organisation, you are responsible for understanding, on a granular level, the needs of the business and what they are looking to achieve. The documentation you create will form the foundations of the solution design and it is imperative that it is accurate.
The Project Manager will work on a wide range of solutions across various sectors. This is a very diverse role and therefore the ability to move between projects, prioritise tasks and manage your own workload is highly important.
