An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and pro-active HR Manager to join the team of our busy clients based in Wellington.

This is a permanent position and you would be expected to be on site Monday - Friday working a minimum of between 20-25 hours per week, however full time hours will also be considered. Our clients are looking to offer a salary between ??18,000 and ??23,000 pro rata depending on experience.

The role will involve reporting directly to the Managing Director and working very closely with the Senior Management Team, you will have the necessary experience to be able to look after all the core day-to-day HR functions.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

* Dealing with day-to-day HR queries from staff.
* Supporting line managers at Organic Herb Trading to ensure all key HR functions take place.
* Advising and provide clarification on policies and procedures.
* Ensuring appropriate confidentiality and sensitivity is observed with all HR issues.
* Updating the HR systems as appropriate - including personal details, absence & holiday entitlement.
* Updating and amending the staff handbook where appropriate.
* Leading Internal HR, disciplinary and grievance investigations and meetings.
* Keeping up to date with current Employment law.
* Recording, analyse and interpret HR data in order to inform the decision making process.
* Administration as required, working in line with all Data Protection legislation.

The successful candidate will be sympathetic with our client's values and have a track record of really making things happen. You will have previous experience of working within a HR environment, hold a CIPD Qualification, and ideally have a good understanding of employment law.

You will have the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters where necessary, have excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, strong attention to detail, and have a range of IT skills, including Word, Excel, databases and Sage.
