Civil Engineering and Drainage
Our Client is looking for a qualified Engineer to act as the key source of technical expertise on civil engineering related issues, and to manage and supervise all engineering schemes for our client. The successful applicant will have sole responsibility for the strategic management and discharge of duties in relation to land drainage and will have direct responsibility for a wide range of projects, ranging from work on sewerage and drainage systems, to developing a work programme on asset maintenance and renewal, to help the company keep abreast of its Asset Register responsibilities.
This post requires experience of working in a local authority or related civil engineering environment. You will need to be familiar with drafting contracts and working with contractors on a day-to-day basis, and a wide range of partner organisations
Main Responsibilities
??? Act as the key source of technical expertise and advice on engineering related issues
??? Manage and supervise engineering and asset maintenance contracts
??? To fulfil top key role of Land Drainage Engineer
??? Land Drainage and flood risk management
??? To develop, procure and manage all Council engineering contracts
??? Monitor performance of a range of complex and diverse engineering and building works contracts.
??? Monitoring land drainage and flood alleviation budgets.
