Our client is a leading energy and services group and they are looking for a Assistant Facilities Manager to work on a site in Somerset.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager (FM), the Assistant Facilities Manager (AFM) is responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of services and processes that support the core business of the customer's business activities with particular reference to the EDF Energy HPC Contract. Ensure that our customers, visitors, contractors and our own teams have the most suitable working environment for safely carrying out their daily working activities.

* The AFM will deliver toolbox talks, briefings and development of the site team, implementing and contributing to standardised operational methodology.
* The AFM will support the FM as a key focal point for client interactions and be involved in both tactical planning and day-to-day operational delivery of the contracted services, remaining accountable for the management of Health and Safety at all times.
* The success of this role and the supporting roles is underpinned by delivering first class customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and the wider FM delivery team.
* Ability to multitask and confident communicator with all levels of personnel.
Qualifications or Required Experience:

* Building services / Engineering ONC
* Facilities management background
* Good MS Office IT skills
* IOSH Managing Safely
* A natural customer service delivery attitude at all times
* Ability to work under pressure either in teams
* Operational, tactical and strategic planning skills
* Flexible approach to working hours and travel
* Professional, presentable, flexible, approachable, efficient, self-motivated, able to motivate others.
* Confident communicator with all levels
* Logical approach to problem solving and not afraid to challenge in the appropriate way
