Our client are an independent consultancy made up of engineers, designers and technical experts who provide services to clients on a global scale. Landscape architects and urban designers working within this organisation create sustainable solutions for complex urban environments and help to solve unusual problems, helping clients to achieve their vision. Due to continued growth and an increased workload, a Graduate Landscape Architect is required to join the busy team in Bristol.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. architecture, landscape architecture, urban design
* A similar postgraduate qualification is also desirable
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to portray ideas through hand drawing and sketches
* Awareness of Landscape Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs)
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Sketchup (or similar modelling software)
* Strong team working and interpersonal skills
* Desire to deliver excellent solutions to range of clients
* Motivation and drive to learn about the sector
About the Role/Duties
* Helping to deliver effective services to clients across a wide and varied range of sectors
* Chance to learn and progress whilst working alongside a team of talented professionals
* Preparing bids and tenders
* Landscape Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs)
* Preparing and communicating drawings and designs
* Presenting technical reports to a high-standard
* Assisting with the day-to-day design work of the team
