PRINCIPAL SAFETY CONSULTANT - FANTASTIC CONSULTANCY - POWER GEN OR MILITARY NUCLEAR EXPERIENCE SOUGHT - ??50,000 - ??70,000.....
We have a new position available for a Principal Safety Consultant with our most prestigious client in the Safety and Risk domain. If you have a proven background in Safety Engineering and work at Senior / Principal level this role would be great for you.
There are not many companies hiring in the Nuclear sector now but my client is and would welcome you with open arms. This demand is due to their impressive reputation and close alignment with the sector and the major players, today is the day to put your hand up for something new.
The Role:
As a Principal Safety Consultant your role will be a mix of Technical Safety Management work, client management and mentorship of others in your area. The role will also allow for you to develop your skills into other industry sectors if this appeals to you.

We are looking for Safety Engineers with experience in these areas...
Safety Management Systems.
Safety Case Production and review.
Safety & Risk Assessment.
Hazard Management.
Deterministic OR Probabilistic Safety Assessment
Nuclear Safety Regulation, Legislation and Industry Policy
Engineering Substantiation
INSA/ISA (this is not a must have but would be highly desirable)
The successful candidate will be a great communicator, you will be able to interact with clients, colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
You will have a desire to take on technical Safety Engineering leadership and project management responsibility for your programmes and be granted the autonomy to make decisions.
Commercial and project management skills are highly desirable attributes but are not essential as training will be provided if required.
