Graduate Electronics Design Engineer
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum high grade Bachelor Honours Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
EXPERIENCE
- No experience in industry is necessary since graduating as an Electrical/Electronics engineer; however, 1-3 years' experience would be desirable
- Some knowledge of, or experience in the following fields would be desirable but are not essential:
- Software design using high level languages ie. C, C++ for embedded microcontrollers.
- Digital electronics design including microcontroller applications.
- Analogue electronics design and simulation.
- Motors and motor drives.
- Designs to meet internationally recognised approvals standards.
- Design for manufacture.
- CAD systems in particular DxDesigner/PADS.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate:
- Should have the desire to learn in a small well motivated team.
- Should have the ability to work as a member of a small team to tight time and cost targets.
- Should be self-motivated with good practical skills and a thorough approach to their work.
- Will be required to liaise with both suppliers and customers, which may in turn necessitate occasional travel
