BMR Solutions is currently looking to recruit for a Purchasing Assistant to work for our client who is an established engineering company based in Bristol.
Job Title: Purchasing Assistant
Location: Bristol
Full Time Contract: 2-4 months
We have a vacancy for a temporary Purchasing Assistant who will be required to support the Purchasing Team / Buyers with all round purchasing support as well as prompt and accurate administrative work, ensuring that the process runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience of working in a busy purchasing department
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Strong IT skills with previous experience of MS Office Word, Excel & Outlook
* An organised approach with a strong focus on attention to detail and ensuring work is thorough and complete
* Accurate data entry skills
* Good problem solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure
JOB SPECIFICATION
* Setting up new suppliers onto the in house computer system
* Confirm orders and inputting onto the system, updating prices and delivery dates
* Answering telephone queries
* Undertaking general admin duties
