My client a leading Tewkesbury based manufacturer is currently looking for a number of Assembly & Test Technicians to join them ASAP on a permanent basis. Shift will be fixed days or fixed nights.

Key Responsibilities
*My client is looking for 2 Assembly and Test Technician's to join a successful team within the Industrial Group working on either day or night shift. As one of the experts in your area, you'll perform precision assembly of a large variety of electro-hydraulic mechanisms including servo valves, actuators and sub assembles.
*This is a crucial part of my clients business, customers expect the very best which is why you are likely to be experienced in a similar role which will include having used small precision hand tools such as Vernier callipers, Micro meters and dial indicators.
*You will safely operate a variety of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical test stands to perform specific static and dynamic testing, using high pressure test rigs, low and high voltage electrical and electronic equipment.
*This is a technical role where precision and innovation play a key part of daily life. Using both manual and computer control you'll perform testing to specification and fault diagnosis of units that may have been returned for service which will help to ensure your area of the business is running effectively.
*It's likely you'll be involved in soldering, potting, wire locking, crimping, lee plugging and cleaning of components, all too recognised standards and so you'll take pride in your work and be respected for it.

Key Expertise
*Completion of Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent in an Industrial Environment
*Understanding of basic hydraulic and electrical /electronic schematic drawings
*Ability to perform strip examinations and write in depth failure reports
*Ideally experience within an assembly environment
