Our client are one of the largest independently owned and managed technical service providers in the UK and Ireland, with extensive expertise and experience in engineering services, technical facilities management and systems integration.
They are currently looking for Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled) to work on a static site in Yeovil. Candidates will be responsible for carrying out ppm and reactive maintenance duties. This is a varied role you will be completing basic electrical, plumbing and general maintenance duties. You will hold current City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications and have experience of working in a similar position.
Responsibilities
* Repairing Machine Tools, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics
* Working in a Factory environment desirable but not essential
* May be asked to carry out basic tasks e.g. screwing up notice boards
* Have good DIY skills
* Basic Electrical Knowledge
* Be able to work on own initiative
* Carrying out Planned Maintenance Tasks
* To be included on the on call Rota when required
* Qualifications and Experience
* Time Served Apprenticeship
* City & Guilds or Equivalent as a minimum
* IPAF Trained desirable but not essential
* 17th Edition desirable but not essential
* First Aid desirable but not essential
* Pat Testing experience desirable but not essential
* CSCS Card desirable but not essential
