Are you a Project Manager with exposure to medium to heavy engineering projects in Defence, Oil & Gas, Construction, or Aerospace? A mechanical engineering background and qualification is desirable, due to the nature of the projects you'll be working on. Ideally you will have APMP or equivalent project management qualification, though training can be provided.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside leading thinkers in the industry at a company renowned for cutting edge technologies and innovative solutions.
You will have the following responsibilities:
To take overall, complete responsibility for the successful delivery of the sub-project, project or set of projects within an agreed budget and schedule
To meet customer requirements and stakeholder expectations
To form a team and keep it focussed and motivated on meeting the project objectives
To work within a defined project life-cycle (phases) and comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Project Management Qualification (e.g. APMP, PMI) and relevant operational delivery experience on engineering design projects
Experience of line management and leadership of a team in a matrix organisation
MS Project 2010, Primavera P6.2.1 or higher user
Strong skills with standard MS Office software, particularly Excel
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and organisations in a medium to heavy industry setting
Working with supplier and procurement organisation
Understanding of project finance and working with project accountants.
