Key Duties:
-To deliver to the guests a total passion and commitment to excellence
-Responsibility for the care of hotel guests throughout their visit
-Using own initiative and to personally take any action appropriate to deliver a first class service
-As part of the team, take responsibility for enquiries, reservations, correspondence, check-in, `concierge duties`, check-out, billing and updating guests history
-As part of the team take responsibility for the reservation system
-Take responsibility of the presentation of the front of house
-To have a good product knowledge of the hotel, restaurant, conference and wedding services in order to create and increase all hotel sales (with perfect knowledge of the hotel layout)
-To have a thorough understanding of offers and special events
-Ensure strict communication with all departments with guest`s special requests and feedback whether good or bad
-Accountable for Reception cash handling issues
-Responsible for Reception backup procedures
Skills:
-Previous experience within a Hotel setting
-High level of presentation and self-confidence
-Approachable and reliable
-Initiative, assertiveness, diplomacy, sensitivity and respect for one-self and others
-Previous reception and reservations experience
-High levels of customer service experience
-Able to work rotating shifts including weekends, lates and earlies
