This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing digital marketing agency. As pioneers and digital experts, predominantly in the life sector, the agency boasts an impressive portfolio of national and international clients. This is an attractive opportunity for someone who is already a Senior Account Manager working within the digital agency sector who is looking for increased opportunity and career development.

On the back of a very successful few years, the business is now looking to strengthen the Account Management team. The aim of the Account Manager is to proactively grow customer relationships, deliver successful programmes and maximise revenue.

The team will visit the Cheltenham HQ once a week with the remainder of the time split between home-working and client site visits, offering great deal of autonomy to a highly driven candidate. Clients are positioned along the M4 corridor so driving and transport will be essential.

You will need to have a track record in a predominately digital agency environment and understand digital. You will own client relationships and show initiative. You will be presenting to Brand Managers, briefing projects into the studio and present complex digital solutions back to clients - so strong presentation/communications/relationship-building skills are a must. With the support of a Project Management team and Innovation Team, you will ensure that you deliver projects on time and on objective.


* Manage a portfolio of customers, gaining an in-depth understanding of the business issues and how the company can help address them
* To understand the strategic objectives of your clients and to offer appropriate strategic guidance
* Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships through regular close contact, including face to face meetings, telephone and email communication
* Mentoring junior members of the team to develop project and client management skills
* Maintain detailed understanding of the financial status of your portfolio including revenue and billing status
* Ensure client development plans for each customer are kept up to date
* Participate and lead in review meeting with customers, demonstrating how the company is helping them to achieve their goals
* Ensure the customer is receiving the highest level of service and excellent delivery of programmes
* Actively discuss opportunities within the team to increase the services offered to your portfolio, increasing the revenue generated from it
* Effectively interact with the sales team when handling programme start-ups, ensuring you are fully and correctly briefed in all aspects of the deliverables
* Responsible for generating awareness within clients, of developing capabilities of the company
* Responsible for representing the company as a delegate at relevant exhibitions, conferences and events etc.


* Educated to degree level, or have relevant agency/digital experience
* Proven ability of building strong relationships
* Experience of growing client accounts, able to demonstrate target and revenue achievement
* Experience of managing accounts and relationships for multiple customers
* Presenting to customers at a senior management level
* Experience of working with creative teams and good understanding of the creative process
* Knowledge and experience of working in a digital marketing and delivery digital services such as websites, apps and UX services in an agency environment
* Able to develop and maintain strong business relationships across the Pharma/Healthcare industry
* A clear concise communicator at all levels who develops trust easily both internally and externally to the organisation
* Strong written, listening and presentation skills

Desirable Skills:-

* To have a track record of working within marketing or communication based solutions with some exposure to Pharma/Healthcare bodies
* Ideally from a progressive marketing/creative agency, from an account management perspective
* Commercial background with knowledge of pipeline management and sales forecasting
* Prince/Agile project management experience is preferred
