My client is a leading Chartered Surveyor Consultancy who are well established and well respected in the Construction Industry.
Due to an increase in workload throughout the South of England they are looking to take on an additional Assistant Building Surveyor in their Gloucestershire office. The successful candidate will be motivated and keen to work in a busy office to develop their experience and skills in the area of building and construction related surveying.
Your responsibilities will include undertaking a variety of surveying related tasks including building control sit inspections, defect and warranty inspections, schedules of condition and party wall act works with CDM related tasks.
To apply for this role you must meet the following minimum criteria:
Experience of the Building and CDM Regulations, Party Wall Act, Building Surveys, Defect investigation and Fire Safety legislation
You will hold a relevant qualification in Building Surveying or Building Control or be construction related
You must be organised and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Due to the area to be covered on site you must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a suitable vehicle for business travel
The salary will be dependent on the level of experience and qualifications of the successful candidate and will be decided after initial interview stage. There is an additional performance related bonus package on offer
