Successful privately owned creative company are looking for a strategic process driven and experienced Purchasing Manager to join this fast-paced company on a full-time permanent basis.

The main purpose

Managing a small team, you will be responsible for delivering the manufacturing division Sales and Profit targets by ensuring quality products are sourced and delivered 'on-time' and 'in-full'.

You will be responsible for

* Establish and lead purchasing strategies against quality, service, risk and cost
* Manage excellent relationships with customer, suppliers and colleagues
* Category manage and track spend on specific goods and services
* From project feasibility stage drive the procurement process with new projects establishing accountability, timelines and key deliverables
* Use analytical tools to evaluate competitive costing
* Aim for best results in developing optimum results with focus on PPV/cost savings with major retailers
* Monitor and forecast changes in internal demand and movements in world markets
* Awareness of product life cycles and stock management and obsolescence reduction


* Educated to degree level in supply chain, logistics, financial discipline. Or be qualified by experience
* Working experience in manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, and supply chain
* Buying experience
* Experienced in multiple SKU's
* Proven high-level achiever with a track record of combining customer service with NPD
* Driven, problem solver with a calm professional demeanor
