We are currently supporting our well known and growing client in South Somerset, and would like to recruit a Warehouse Operative with FLT Licence for their expanding business. The company is a market leader in their niche sector.
This is a temp to perm position, which will become permanent after an introductory period of temping, if all parties are satisfied. Company Benefits, once made a permanent staff member include:

The role involves the following:
Ensuring stock is kept in allocated locations, advising when changes are made.
Accurate booking in of goods and returns
Ensuring quarantine rules for goods are adhered to.
Picking raw materials & packaging according to Works Order requirements. Accuracy is key with regards this part of the role.
Liaising with Production Supervisor/Team Leader to ensure Works Orders reach production in time.
Liaising with Purchasing to help with stock control/ storage issues.
Picking, packing and checking Sales Orders correctly prior to despatch.
Liaising with Sales Administrators to get domestic and overseas shipping arranged.
Liaising with Purchasing to prevent any stock shortages.
Assisting with rolling and quarterly stock takes.
What we are looking for:
You must have a counterbalance forklift licence to apply for this role
You must have warehouse experience
You must be computer literate
Hours of work are 08.30 - 17.00 with one hour lunch
