PDM / Database Assistant
BMR Solutions is currently looking to recruit for a PDM / Database Assistant to work for our client who is a large manufacturing company based in Clevedon, Somerset.
Position: PDM / Database Assistant
Hourly Rate: ??15.00 PAYE // ??19.55 UMBRELLA
Job Type: Contract (Long term)
Location: Clevedon, Somerset
Sector: SQL / VBA / Visual Basic / PDM / BOMs / Database / Engineering / Production / Manufacturing / MRP / Engineering Change
* Experience of SQL Server, VBA, databases, preferably with a production background.
* MRP experience (Beneficial).
* Produce Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBoM) for products to ensure product is manufactured efficiently and economically.
* Ensure the MBoM is produced to the relevant company standards.
* Work within processes and procedures.
* Develop an understanding of Engineering Change processes, and the appreciation of knock-on effect change has to other departments.
* Develop an understanding of manufacturing methods and processes used and ensure these are represented in the MBoM.
* Work within timescales set by the Product Data Management Team Leader and communicate all issues or delays.
* Where required support any quality process improvement projects.
* Work in a safe and effective manner in compliance with the Company's Health and Safety policy and ensure that the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act are met.
