Our client is a specialist lender who are actively recruiting for a Senior Testing Analyst to take ownership and responsibility for test projects / changes affecting the finance data warehouse. You will work with the Lead test analysts to manage the test activities ensuring all changes have been adequately tested before they are implemented. Providing high quality complex output, guidance and advice.

Job details:

???Works to define and improve the test approach and strategy.
???Estimates the timescales, efforts and costs of test phases
???Responsible for the testing activities on each change - Development of test plans - Prepare and execute test scripts - Record and evidence test results -Record test signoff
???Provides technical support and assistance to the business in a subject area, using own judgement as to when more complex queries require escalation
???Effectively works within and maintains internal networks for the purpose of optimising business results
???Management of test environments - Ensure the effective and efficient use of available environments - Ensure that appropriate test data is available - Check that the correct implementation scripts have been applied
???Supports complex processes in terms of scale, scope and specialism with across-divisional impact; recognised subject matter expert.
???Supports manager in developing the team processes and standards, contributing to the vision and strategy.
???Produces accurate estimates of time required to complete activities to support project planning. Maintains MI on productivity rates and adjusts estimates in line with developing actuals to improve estimation accuracy.

Essential experience:

???SEB Qualified Software Tester (Foundation level or above)
???Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to make the complex simple
???Evidences increasing accuracy of estimation and increasing productivity over time.
???Responsible for managing and implementing robust processes aligned to short term business objectives
???Excellent planning and organisation, specifically the ability to process numerous pieces of work simultaneously and deliver all to short deadlines and with high degree of quality
???Advanced understanding of business intelligence software and associated tools (e.g. Oracle, SQL, SAS, Business Objects)
???Highly numerate with experience in business/analytical discipline
???Excellent attention to detail
???Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to make the complex simple
???Excellent planning and organisation, specifically the ability to process numerous pieces of work simultaneously and deliver all to short deadlines and with high degree of quality
???Advanced understanding of testing methodologies and software development lifecycle
???Advanced business acumen and strong business relationships.
???Advanced analytical skill set with ability to solve problems and think through issues
???Advanced understanding of testing methodologies and software development lifecycle
???Strong Knowledge of LBG technology and systems infrastructure (including UFSS & MSP+)
