Project Manager - Communication Systems
Morson Projects is currently supporting an industry leading engineering organisation identify and select an experienced Project Manager with core capabilities focused on Maritime Communications systems. We are ideally seeking candidates that demonstrate a good understanding of Defence Based Systems Engineering Methodology, Software Engineering lifecycle knowledge and experience and preferably Submarine Communications experience.
It is likely that you will have experience working with or for Defence Primes, contract organisations or directly with the MoD.
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for the management of large, high value, complex communication systems projects which require excellent customer relationship management, bid support and consistent project delivery.
The ideal candidate must be a highly capable, versatile and an enthusiastic leader with the experience to lead a multi-disciplined team predominantly in a UK MOD Naval Defence environment. Experience in the defence domain would be highly desirable.
Experience and Qualifications
??? Programme and/or Project Management experience in a complex Communication Systems technical environment;
??? Experience of managing ??20-50M defence contracts;
??? An excellent communicator and able to demonstrate both effective change and conflict management;
??? Resource planning and management experience;
??? Member of the Association of Project Management or equivalent;
??? Certified Project Manager or similar certification;
??? Competent in the use of MS Project
