Our client is one of the UK's leading Civil Engineering companies. Due to recently being awarded a prestigious new contract they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to Commercially oversee Infrastructure works.
Key Essentials:
* Reporting to the Commercial Manager; you will be required to Provide Commercial input including managing the cost, value and subcontract element of projects under NEC Form of Contract
* Your role will involve Preparation and Submission of CVRs, Ensuring timely Preparation and Agreement of contract changes to avoid WIP and maximising cash-flow ensuring payments are received within allocated time-scales
* You will be required to Produce cash-flow forecasts and keep updated and report on variances
* You will be responsible for Ensuring that Commercial and Administrative systems are utilised
* The role will involve assisting in the production and auditing of cost submissions
Requirements:
* You will need to have 5-10 years Q.S experience on Infrastructure projects for a main contractor
* You should have excellent knowledge of NEC Forms of Contract
* You should be fully proficient in Microsoft Office Packages
* This is an excellent position that offers a salary of up to ??60k + Package (including subsistence allowance)
