Our client have the solutions for those looking for high quality UPVC and aluminium replacement windows, doors, conservatories & custom-made orangery designs.

With nearly 30 years experience in home improvements, they have the knowledge and expertise to handle the design, manufacture and installation of replacement windows and doors, conservatories and a great range of tailor made orangeries.

An exiting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Surveyor to join the team. Based from their Head Office in Glos, this is a Regional role which requires travel to sites within the Midlands and East Midlands areas.

The role has come about due to workload and expansion and it is a great time to join the company. You will be working on a variety of bespoke commercial projects as part of a small team

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
??To produce accurate measurements and site surveys
??Ensure that site conditions and sizes are accurate to align with client requests and specification
??Ensure the window and door designs are as specification and are in accordance with Building Regulations
??Familiarise yourself with all window and door systems including: ironmongery, specifications, brought-in products etc.
??Communicate concise instructions regarding method of fixing and making good materials
??Resolve any technical details relevant to each contract
??Attend internal and external design and technical meetings as required
??Promote "right first time" principles
??Compile fabrication drawings for client approval
??Ensure our fabrication drawings are compiled, approved and issued to manufacture in accordance with the agreed programme
??Ensure any variations / client requests are issued to the Financial Department, and no additional works are carried out without a clients instruction
??Detail and order brought-in items in consultation with the Contracts Manager on a timely basis and in a competitive environment to minimise costs
??Maintain and update all internal schedules
??Update job files in a timely manner
??To ensure that at all times the department responds to customers in a professional and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role and have excellent communication skills, be customer focused with the ability to build and manage strong customer relationships.

A strong knowledge and experience of various forms of contracts, their conditions, provisions and administration would be highly desirable.

Salaries are in the region of ??24-28k + Company car + mobile phone + laptop
