Position: Residential Support worker / Support Worker
Senior roles are available
Salary: starts at ??8 per hour but could be more depending on experience.
Sleep-in allowance: ??30 per night, = about an extra ??3k per year
Total package = ??19,000 to ??20,000 for support workers (seniors more)
Shift pattern
24 hour shifts - starting at 07.30am - 23.00hrs and sleep in.
There are some 48 hour shifts depending on the home
Full-time and Part-time available. Full-time 10 shifts per month, Overtime available with a ??40 bonus
Client Group: Children with challenging behaviour
Location: Homes across Somerset (Bristol, Wellington, Bridgewater, Tiverton, Yeovil, llminster)
Experience needed: Experience of challenging behaviour, adults or children
An excellent opportunity has become available for Residential Support Workers' to join a specialist behavioural health services provider for children in several homes across the Somerset area. The large company operates across the whole of the UK in several specialisms. The young people in the Somerset area could have a range of complex needs such as Mental Health, challenging behaviour, attachment difficulties, ADHD or sexualised behaviour.
As a Residential Support Worker you will be responsible for ensuring the young person's needs are met on a daily basis in a caring and safe environment.
You will have an ethos of believing that every child or young person has a personal best.
